Direct answer
The location associated with the creator, separate from where their audience is based.
Context 01
Location can answer several different questions
A team may care where a creator lives, where they can produce content, which market they understand or where an in-person activation can happen. Those are related questions, but one country field cannot answer all of them.
The record should state the location level, source and observation date. If the value is inferred, the inference should be labeled rather than presented as a confirmed fact.
Context 02
Market fit requires more than residence
A creator based in one market may reach audiences in several others. Content language, audience distribution and cultural context should be evaluated as separate signals.
For local campaigns, creator location may be a hard requirement. For cross-border campaigns, it may be context rather than an exclusion.
Do not overread this signal
Limits to keep visible.
- 01Public profile locations may be missing, outdated or intentionally broad.
- 02A city or country does not establish audience concentration.
- 03Residence does not by itself prove cultural or language relevance.
