Step 01
Define the decision before searching
Influencer discovery starts with a decision, not a database. Write down the campaign outcome, audience, market, creator role, required evidence and disqualifiers before looking at profiles. This keeps a visually impressive creator from quietly rewriting the brief.
Separate non-negotiable criteria from useful preferences. If every preference becomes a filter, a strong brief can collapse into an empty result set. Start with the conditions that would genuinely change approval, then add secondary signals when they improve the decision.
- Campaign outcome and creator role
- Target audience and market
- Required content or category evidence
- Performance window and exclusions
